Dr. Frank Robert Glatz is a board-certified otolaryngologist, originally from Springfield, Illinois. Dr. Glatz earned his doctorate of medicine at Wake Forest University. Upon completing a fellowship at the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine, Dr. Glatz searched for a community in need of his medical training and expertise. He ultimately decided to make the Rio Grande Valley his home. In 2022, Dr. Glatz opened his own solo practice and Dove Pointe Ambulatory Surgery Center.

In 2024, Dr. Glatz was credited as the first surgeon in the RGV to offer the Inspire implant to treat patients suffering from moderate to severe obstructive sleep apnea.
Dr. Glatz was also a pioneer in advanced sinus procedures. In 2012, he was among the first ENTs in the Valley to begin using technology for the office-based procedure known as balloon sinuplasty. Dr. Glatz has performed countless balloon sinuplasty procedures with results that outlast his competition.

In 2005, Dr. Glatz was the first doctor in the Rio Grande Valley to provide implantable hearing solutions for his patients. Since 2002, he has implanted over 500 Cochlear implants to deaf and hard-of-hearing patients.

Jonathan Lerma is a certified Physician Assistant, originally from Harlingen, Texas. He earned his bachelor’s degree in Community Health from Texas A&M University, College Station, and went on to receive his master’s in Physician Assistant Studies from the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley. Jonathan completed his clinical rotations
under Dr. Glatz’s supervision, and from that point forward, they knew they were a great team.

Being born in the Rio Grande Valley, Jonathan is excited to serve the community that raised him. Jonathan is proud to offer care to patients in the Rio Grande Valley.
